This Monday we got to jamming at calimucho studios and put down the first Pudding Cupps demos. (song that starts on this page) Now this website's content is all made by me including the music! Pretty cool! My official stage name is Clams McGhee. Rock on people... we'll see you on tour someday.

I had to back out of the rock and roll art show, but others are planning shows for the summer at the croatian cultural center. Once again a new year and I find myself at square one. Got to find a place to show my art in a solo show. What to do next. Thinking of phasing out shirts all together. Maybe making more comics? Keep and eye out for new comics in the comic of the week page. Mostly painting... then what? Trying to find work. If you need art or know a friend that does, please let me know. My rates are very affordable. Many thanks for all of you, and your support.

You all wanted another one, so we are planning the 3rd Annual Rock and Roll Artshow, Downtown San Pedro sometime in June (like June 16th I think...) We have a lot of Pedro heads with June birthdays, so it's for all us Juners (Like me, June 18th). I have a BIG art show planned and I am working on a new style for my art and this will big the big unveiling show. We may have room for more artists, but contact me soon. We may get The Pine Hill Haints from Alabama again as we all love them. Spending this grey day in the studio painting in my new style and drinking coffee listening to the rain outside. The pups are curled up on the couch in the front room. Talk to you soon. -Scott

We said goodbye to the El Segundo Gasoline Gallery location yesterday. To see a few photos
click here. I got there a bit late as my guitar lesson ran long. Good to see all the regulars there. Mark is looking for a new permanent location and is planning pop up shows in the mean time, so don't count Gasoline Gallery out just yet. A brand new year is here and I plan on making this site crank this year with new comics, shirts and PLENTY of original paintings for sale! I got a good feeling about this year and I am re-charged and ready for it! So, Hey ho let's go!

December 31st, 2011
Happy New Year! Speaking of which... here's one you can not miss. The Gasoline Gallery El Segundo closer! What??! Yep. Gasoline is still operating, but the El Seg. shop is done so let's give it a good send off. Here's the flyer below. Had a crazy holiday. Sharon's aunt Marge passed away a few days ago and we are sad. Sister Jenny's treatments are helping and things for her look good, so that's hopeful. The painting of the week was sold today as well as one other. Got some holiday shout outs going to Calimucho! We'll get together soon dudes! We had a nice pork roast and Sharon's cheesy butter potatoes on Christmas eve. I got a mini Darth Vader guy and some Hot Wheels from Santa. Spending down time catching up on comic book reading. (I got the darkest night graphic novel and some of the following Green Lanterns). Hope your holiday was joyus. Here's to 2012!

December 15th, 2011 Thursday
Little sister Jenny is in town today (we are going to have an early christmas thing this year) She is here until sunday so we'll have lots of time to hang out. Tonight we are going to the new Muppets movie (because as kids we liked the muppets) I have not had movie corn for a long time. I put up the first bargain painting. As you may know I am making a NEW comic every week that will lead to a new comic book. You can see them each week on the Cartoon of the Week page. Last week guitar lessons were cancelled (hope Walter is o.k. I'll find out saturday.) waiting by the mail box for my Kiss meets Archie comics I ordered. I went to Geoffrey's Comics in Gardena last weekend and they had a signing by the writer and colorist of The Flash and Superman, so as well as getting some new comics I got some signed. You know comics are so cool especially indie comics by cool artists like me (did you know I have 2 comics for sale here?) Trying not to run the heater too much. Working on a job for a video game company today and some band logos and cartoons. Keeping busy and focused.

December 4th, 2011 Sunday
Well, did some more work to the site for the upcoming new year. New things are the "Bargain Paintings" section where you can get good deals on some of my work from the past ....and, I added the "Cartoon of the week" ....yep! planning a new comic book and you can watch it grow here each week then when I get it all finished I will put it out in a limited run you can only get here!
Rawl is coming over tuesday to start work on Pudding Cupps demos with me on the acoustic and him on the pots and pans (seriously happening). Chet and coco are sporting their sweaters. (We are trying not to run the heater) Sister Jenny is doing better and is going to be here on a visit soon. Huddle and cuddle yer loved ones and keep warm.

December 2nd, 2011 Friday
I think this is the new look for the site for awhle (for now at least). Working on paintings in a new style. Trying to challenge my skills. Lots of guitar practice too. All I want for christmas is for my little sister to get well. Say a prayer with me for my sister Jenny. She is very brave and will always be my number one fan. I love you Jenny.
November 20th 2011 Sunday
It's cold so we all have on our winter sweaters... even chet and coco have them. Check them out on their blog page by clicking HERE. Drinking hot coffee and practicing some gur-tar today. Sharon made cookies too. Chocolate chip. Yum.

November 14, 2011
Lots of my pals are talking about the Descendents show coming up. Might check that out and Missingmen at Liquid Kitty's punk rock BBQ deal... Switched the page up some, not sure on that blue bar on the right, but I'm working on it. Looks cleaner anyhow. Picked out some mellow tunes for you all too. My 2 shows are going all month maybe more. The cards are below this text. Getting out my loose sweat pants and have my fork and knife at the ready for some bird time, big time. Remember the season is about being thankful for what we have. (Hey this is the USA... land-o-plenty.) Tip hearty and think local shopping. My anniversary is coming up too. 19 years with the love of my life. Thanks to Sharon for looking after this old fool... sunday I read No Regrets by Ace Frehley. Made me want to never drink again. He's lucky to be alive. Remember to play nice and don't hold back on the hugs.

November 4th, 2011
Welcome home to Mike Watt and the Missingmen from their europe tour. Extra shout out to missingman Rawl Power and Kid Kevin (also fellow Pudding Cuppers.) Looking forward to jamming and congrats to Kevin on his upcoming marriage. In the news today... 2 shows coming up next  week on thursday downtown LA and saturday in OC. Flyers are posted below. LA show is at ground works coffee cafe (get a snack and some good java and some affordable holiday art for about 20 bucks each? How cool, Eh?) The OC s   nd a good burger joint a few blocks down the street. I am stoked to be in both of them. Hope to see you there. Almost time for some candied yams etc... bird is the word! I wrote a little at the blog about some recent flea finds and today I intend to blog about the new Lou Reed "Lulu" album he did with Metallica which is really awesome (for Lou fans like me anyway). Be good to each other. More soon!

Happy Halloween to you all!
October 31, 2011
Well, time to lite the pumpkins and bust out the fun size bars. I got a few more designs ready to pre-order. (this month is "Aloha" and "Gone Mad" that are new) What's "pre-order" mean? These are new designs I make every month. If no one orders them they get filed away in the archives. Runs are very limited for each one, so if you want one don't hold back or you might miss out.
Have fun and be safe boys and ghouls

October 17th, 2011
Happy birthday Chet! Our little dog Chet turns 2 today (14 in dog years) The holiday gift show has been changed again to downtown LA at a coffee shop cafe. When I get the info I will post it. I think it is still going to be November 3rd. Added some new things to perk up the site. Hug the ones you love and stay safe. Caio for now.

Oh, I posted a new blog post about these crazy times. you can read it on my blog page here:

October 5th, 2011 wednesday

Got some commissions this week. Taking guitar lessons again and getting ready to launch my band this winter with friends from Calimucho! We have a name and blog already. Check it out here if you want. Really loving just living right now. Thankful for the family I have. Alex Chiu and I have a show we are working on that will be in downtown pedro if it happens. I am trying to lock down the date and bands etc... but the idea for the show is we each did 30 5x5 inch block paintings (so 60 total) that should sell for 20 bucks each. It's a holiday gift show. Pick some real hand made art for a great price for the ones you love. That will be in November. Working on new paintings with a new direction and writing songs mostly and drawing designs for the band. Just rained today. perfect weather for staying in and working on stuff. That's it for now, Aloha!
